The NCLI and The Wildlife Society applaud and promote each other’s leadership development programs now in their fourth years. The programs target different career levels. The Wildlife Society offers a Leadership Institute for entry level professionals. Their successful program offers an effective stepping-stone for those who desire to be nominated for consideration into the National Conservation Leadership Institute. The NCLI targets professionals who already have experience working for their organization and are recognized by their top level administrators as having a high capacity for leadership.
Due to the current economic status, the NCLI board has decided to allow all agencies and organizations to make up to three nominations during the 2009-10 application period.
