Program Overview

Tuition

The NCLI program exists because of dedicated sponsors who believe in the value the program offers to each Fellow and their organization. Because of their support, we are able to offer State Agency, Federal Agency, Non-governmental and Natural Resource Industry participants two tuition options:

  • Full Tuition | $10,000 – Full tuition covers the actual cost of an NCLI Fellow’s participation in the program, including lodging, meals, and other related costs. When an organization pays full tuition, it covers the full cost of its participant and helps to sustain the NCLI.

  • Subsidized Tuition | $8,000 – We believe that financial concerns should not be a barrier to individual or organizational development. Subsidized tuition rates allow organizations facing financial challenges to send participants at a reduced cost. Sponsor funds are applied to cover the difference between rates.

  • Tribal Participation: Through continued support, the NCLI is able to offer a reduced tuition rate of $6,000 to tribal participants. Some scholarship funds are available. Please email institute@fishwildlife.org to inquire about scholarship funds.
