NCLI Cohort 12 First Residency

Where: National Conservation Training Center

When: October 15-27, 2017

The Fellows of NCLI Cohort 12 will join NCLI staff and faculty at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV for their First Residency on October 15, 2017. These 36 individuals come to the program from a particularly diverse range of organizations, including federal and state agencies, NGOs, industry and tribal organizations. 

After completing their 13 day First Residency, Fellows will spend time working independently and in peer groups on individual leadership challenges, then reconvene in Spring of 2017 at the Horace M. Albright Training Center, near the rim of the Grand Canyon. 

Upon completion of the program, the Fellows of Cohort 12 will join an ever-expanding network of nearly 400 Alumni working in natural resource management throughout North America. See a full list of NCLI Alumni here

NCLI Cohort 10 Continuing Education

Where: Saint Michaels College, Burlington, VT

When: July 12-14, 2017

NCLI Cohort 10 will convene at Saint Michaels College in July for a 2.5 day training for C-10 members and coaches. This event will focus on building upon the adaptive leadership concepts explored during the NCLI program. Participants will be trained through an interactive mix of learning methods including lively discussion, peer-peer case examples, and challenging critical thinking skills.  

This is a closed event. Registration is only available for Cohort 10 graduates, coaches, and staff. If you'd like more information about this event, or would like assistance planning an event for your own cohort, please contact us at institute@conservationleadership.org.

NCLI Cohort 11 Second Residency

Where: National Park Service Albright Training Center; Grand Canyon Village, AZ

When: May 15-20, 2017

NCLI Cohort 11 will complete its second residency and graduate in the May, 2017 at NPS Horace M. Albright Training Center near the rim of the Grand Canyon. The 36 members of C11 began their journey back in October with their First Residency at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Conservation Training Center.

Where: 2016 NSSF Industry Summit - Pittsburgh Marriott City Center

As a part of our ongoing commitment to connecting conservation's current and future champions with today's leadership experts, The National Conservation Leadership Institute is proud to be partnering with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) to bring David Mead and Start With Why to the 2016 NSSF Industry Summit.

NCLI Cohort 10 will complete its second residency in the May, 2016 at NPS Horace M. Albright Training Center near the rim of the Grand Canyon. The 36 members of C10 began their journey back in October with their 11-day First Residency at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Conservation Training Center.  The graduation of this year’s Fellows will mark 10 years of NCLI, and bring the total number of NCLI Alumni to 353 strong.
